Terms and Conditions for purchasing products on the C’est Jeanne website and the general use of the C’est Jeanne website.

Firstly, thank you for purchasing from C’est Jeanne Gloves, and for your support.

We take great pride in our reputation for providing merchandise of the highest quality. As such, it is important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We, therefore, take great care in packaging and delivering our goods to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. However, due to the nature of our merchandise, C’est Jeanne Gloves does not accept returns. We regret that we cannot offer refunds on products that have been made to order or customized.

If you are unsure about choosing a model from the website or have questions regarding measuring, you can contact C’est Jeanne at info@cestjeanne.com or fill in the contact form on the website. Customers based in the Netherlands can make a try-on appointment at the studio in Zaandam.

Terms and Conditions for made-to-order or customized gloves

Welcome to the website of C’est Jeanne Gloves. C’est Jeanne provides the services available on the website subject to the following terms and conditions. By accessing or using the website, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Our commitment to you

Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your visit to our site and purchase(s) from us. We are committed to helping you in any way that we can to ensure that your glove-purchasing experience is as easy and enjoyable as possible. Though we’d like to believe that our execution of orders is perfect, from time to time we do make mistakes. It is in those mistakes, either ours or yours, that we want to help you in any way that we can to quickly rectify any issues that may arise.

Privacy policy

At C’est Jeanne Gloves, we respect your privacy. We will never sell or distribute your name or personal information to outside parties. Our customer database is kept confidential and will only be used for direct communication between C’est Jeanne and you.

Eligibility

To be eligible to purchase goods on this website and to lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Site under Dutch law you must:

(a) be aged eighteen (18) years of ages or older

(b) register on the Site and

(c) be able to make a payment.

Language

This contract shall be concluded in English.

Prices

All prices indicated for products available via the website are inclusive of VAT (21%) at the current rates and are exclusive of delivery charges. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered and delivery charges. Delivery charges will be applied during checkout, or can be found on the page ‘shipping’

Product descriptions

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and images of products appearing on our website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered into the system; however, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colors or other content available on the site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Although we aim to keep our website as up-to-date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this site at a particular time may not always reflect the product exactly at the moment you place an order. The gloves may vary slightly from the website due to pattern enhancements and their custom-made nature. We cannot confirm the price of a product until your order is accepted following our order acceptance policy.

Purchase related policy

The products and services available on the site, and any samples are for personal use only. You may not sell or resell any of the products or services, or samples thereof, you purchase or otherwise receive from us. Please note that samples are subject to availability. We reserve the right, with or without notice, to cancel or reduce the quantity of any orders that we believe, in our sole discretion, may result in the violation of our Terms and Conditions.

Placing an order and order acceptance

You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Site. You will be offered the opportunity to review your proposed order and confirm or correct it before finally placing your order. You place your order on the C’est Jeanne website by clicking on the SUBMIT BUTTON at the end of the online ordering process. Once you have placed your order, you will be directed to PayPal or Stripe to make the payment. We will send you an email confirmation providing you with the details and value of your order, which has been debited to your account.

Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have canceled your order following the cancellation section of the website, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when we have dispatched the goods ordered by you.

The gloves are custom-made. Therefore completion takes up to 10 weeks from ordering it. The shipping time depends on location. Contact C’est Jeanne at info@cestjeanne.com or the contact form on the website if you need the gloves earlier, there are rush fees available. If we are unable to fulfill your order following our order acknowledgment, we will contact you by email advising you of this.

Payment

Payment is made through the webshop or after receiving the invoice by email. After receiving payment, we will deliver the goods. Work will not begin on your order until payment has cleared. If no payment has been received within 14 days (without prior arrangement) your order will be canceled.

Title to goods

We will retain the legal ownership of the goods until full payment has been made by you and such payment has been received by us.

Delivery

Each piece is handmade to C’est Jeanne exacting standards of craftsmanship. The gloves are custom-made. Therefore completion takes up to 10 weeks from ordering. If we are unable to fulfill your order following our order acknowledgment, we will contact you by email advising you of this. Your pieces will be shipped by an international parcel delivery service. Shipping overseas may incur import taxes (these are the client’s responsibility). Any claims for loss or damage to the shipment are the client’s responsibility. You can also collect your pieces at our studio in Zaandam personally. You can make an appointment here.

Acceptance of goods

Upon receipt, you must inspect the goods. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods unless you notify us that you have canceled the order and/or you return the goods following the Returns Policy. If no such action is taken, we shall not be obliged to accept any rejection of the goods at a later date. Your statutory rights are not affected. If you have not received the entire order as detailed in the order confirmation email sent to you when an order is received, please email info@cestjeanne.com

If you are not satisfied with anything after receiving the gloves you have up to a week after receiving to contact C'est Jeanne. Send an email to info@cestjeanne.com with as many details/pictures as possible. You will be contacted as soon as possible about the situation.

Intellectual property

All content available on the website, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, data compilations, and software, and the compilation thereof (collectively, the “content”) is the property of C’est Jeanne Gloves.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless for any loss, damages, or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any third-party claim, action, or demand resulting from your use of the Site. You also agree to indemnify us for any loss, damages, or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from your use of software robots, spiders, crawlers, or similar data gathering and extraction tools, or any other action you take that imposes an unreasonable burden or load on our infrastructure.

Disputes

Your use of this website and any purchase by you of any goods from C’est Jeanne Gloves shall be governed by Dutch law and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dutch courts.
